Software for Oil & Gas suppliers
In Vaca Muerta the operators already run on AI, but the mid-size supplier still certifies services on paper and spreadsheets. Automating contractor compliance, the certification-to-cash cycle and daily field tickets recovers admin hours and, above all, shortens days to payment.
The asymmetric counter
The digital gap across the oil value chain is asymmetric, and it is widening.
- On one side of the counter, operators monitor thousands of wells with AI from real-time operation centers, drill fully remote wells and manage procurement and contracts with AI agents.
- On the other side, hundreds of certified supplier SMEs still run on paper field tickets, loose spreadsheets and no management dashboard at all.
- The digital burden is defined by the operators and paid by the supplier. Onboarding and scoring on each client's procurement platform (SAP Ariba, Exiros), contractor document control, provincial registries, certifications. Many companies have staff dedicated solely to uploading paperwork.
- No visible brand serves that segment. The big consultancies work for the operators on seven-figure engagements. The mid-size supplier was left alone with its Excel.
That gap is exactly where we work: data consulting and AI automation for the middle link of the chain.
Where a supplier loses money
- Manual document control. Every operator demands its own platform, deadlines and scoring. One expired document can stop a whole crew from entering the site.
- The certification, invoice, collection cycle is slow. You spend before you collect: fuel, wages and equipment go out today, the invoice gets paid at 60, 90 or more days. The cash mismatch is the segment's number one problem.
- Paper field tickets. Hours, equipment and services written down from memory end up as work done that never gets invoiced.
- Unknown margin per contract. If you are asked for a 20% rate cut, your only defense is knowing which contracts can take it and which cannot.
- Fleet and equipment without data. Machine hours, maintenance and site assignment live in someone's head.
Our approach: small tickets, measurable results
We do not sell an 18-month ERP. We build scoped, fixed-price implementations that pay for themselves with what they put in order:
- Contractor back-office. Documentation and expiry dates for staff, equipment and insurance with alerts before they lapse, plus status tracking across each operator's platform.
- From certificate to cash. A dashboard of issued certifications, invoices and projected cash, so you know how much money comes in and when, and chase delays on time.
- Digital field tickets. The daily ticket is filled in from the phone on site, with photos, and feeds the service certification directly.
- Margin per contract and per unit. With the data in order, the dashboard shows which client, contract and machine leaves margin and which does not.
- Mid-size conventional operators. For the companies that inherited mature fields: production, cost and management analytics at SME scale, without a major's structure.
Five more solutions: sensors, cameras and AI on top of the operation
Every physical bottleneck in the basin can be instrumented: measured, watched and anticipated. These five solutions bring the technology layer the operators already use down to SME scale, and each one is implemented as a scoped module, field installation included: cameras, sensors, cabling and connectivity are set up by our technical crew.
Fleet telemetry and logistics with live data
GPS and telemetry on every truck and machine: position, routes, fuel consumption, engine hours. On top of that data, the management layer: real cost per trip, profitability per truck and per route, alerts for detours or prolonged stops, and AI-assisted rotation planning instead of a whiteboard and a phone.
Online surveillance of yards, warehouses and sites
Connected cameras with AI detection over the facilities: after-hours intrusion, movement of equipment and vehicles, yard status at any hour from the phone. For remote bases and warehouses full of expensive material, it replaces depending on someone driving by to look, and every event is recorded on video.
IoT sensors and predictive maintenance
Connected hour meters, level sensors on water and fuel tanks, pressure and temperature on critical equipment. Maintenance stops being by calendar or by breakdown: the system alerts when a variable drifts out of range and schedules the service on real usage condition. A machine standing idle on site costs far more than the sensor that would have anticipated it.
HSE with computer vision and digital records
PPE detection by camera at access points and critical areas, digital work permits tied to each task, per-person training expiries with alerts, and incidents reported from the phone with photo, time and location. When the client audits, the HSE file comes out in minutes, with evidence instead of binders.
AI on bid documents, costs and tenders
Automatic reading of tender documents and annexes with AI (requirements, deadlines, demanded documentation) turned into a checklist, an estimator that starts from the real cost history per line item, and an assistant that answers in plain language about the state of the operation: which bids are due, which costs went up, which contract is losing margin.
