Software for restaurants and bars

In short

In a restaurant or a bar, the two tasks that eat the most time are building the monthly roster and tracking staff hours. Automated, the manager recovers 10 to 16 hours a month and stops arguing about hours nobody wrote down.

Daily life in a hospitality venue

Hospitality combines three things that make administration heavy very quickly: rotating shifts, high staff turnover and strong seasonality.

  • The roster changes every week. Someone asks for a day off, another calls in sick, the weekend needs more people than Tuesday.
  • Staff come and go often. Every hire means records, paperwork and spreadsheet entry; every exit means getting the hours right.
  • The season changes everything. Peak months can double demand and force you to bring in temporary staff.
  • Overtime is a source of conflict. Without a record both sides accept, it is one person's word against another's.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Does it work for a venue with temporary staff?
Yes, and this is where the difference shows most. Onboarding someone for the season takes minutes, and when the contract ends the hours are already calculated for payroll without reviewing anything.
Our shifts change every week, is that a problem?
It is the typical case in this industry. The rules are loaded once (minimum coverage per slot, rest periods, hour caps) and the roster regenerates each week in minutes.
How are tips and shift bonuses handled?
Shift bonuses can be configured as items that calculate themselves alongside hours. Tips, which in most cases are not part of payroll, are kept separate and the system does not mix them in.
How long until it is running?
Between 5 and 10 days for scheduling, and 3 to 7 for attendance. You can start with one and add the other later.
